Driver door lock problem and tilt steering problem

Driver door lock problem and tilt steering problem
I just bought a 2000 Convertible and have two things not working:
1. The tilt steering does not work at all. When I try to push or move the button nothing happens.
2. Driver side power door lock will lock both from the key fob and the power door lock button inside the car, but it will not unlock from the key fob or inside button. I have to use my key to unlock the door from the outside or manually unlock from inside the car.
Any ideas how to correct?
