99 C5 tires
Now 3 sets later can't buy FH RFT's and won't buy GY's.
Considering Michelin Run Flats.
I see Michelin also has non run flats.
I really want quiet ride for long trips AND traction for wet driving.
We haven't seen snow here in about 35 yrs so not a very high risk of ever driving in snow.
I have been looking at C5 in car shows at the brands people are using but just wondering about what recommendation? and how are they working out?
Thanks vettdvr

Actally No. I went through 3 sets of run flats the 1st set was OEM Goodyears. Then 2 more sets of Firestoness. For my application the Firstones did a great job and I would buy them again but they are discontinued. I prefer runflats because I travel in my car sometimes 1000 miles / day. And I dont' have time to chase around for someone to tow me in. So I would still buy runflats as a 1st choice. The Firestones went about 35000 before being changed out and in our C5 application with our easy
driving that is a lot of mileage. I am open to consideration to tire brand BUT, IT ABSOULTELY must be a high quality tire that doesn't blow out, have ply delamination and overall unsatisfactory performance. Life is too short for me to play the game of is it a bad shock, tire, alignment, or ball joint. I want them to WORK. All this means is quiet ride reasonable traction, life, balance out without 5# of weight on the tire.
I have had my share of "good as Michelins' blow out, come apart, not balance, tread off center and the lot of good as tires.
I dont' mind paying for a quality tire , but I do expect to GET what I pay for on the tire.
