C5 Transmission work
Anyone from the Orlando Florida area? Needing to know if anyone has a transmission shop that is trusted..i have a 2001 z06 6speed. Appears to have synchro issues on reverse and the slight grind on first.

If I were to have any transmission work or differential work done to my car, I would remove it and send it to Rick Kim RKT56

If you have to have a shop do it, contact the local corvette shop and see if anyone there can recommend a shop.
Recommend that you also examine the rubber couplers inside the Torque tube while you have it down that far.
How many miles do you have on the clutch??

Tick Performance in NC has a great reputation for doing that stuff. I did the Level II upgrade while I had mine out for pilot bearing repl. If you go to their website, the tell you how to ship, turn around times and cost. Good luck with it.
