Check Gages Dash indicator
My Check Gages light was lit this morning on my HUD display indicating a low tire pressure. The light on the on the dash itself did not light. I know the light on the dash is working because it illuminates when the key is on with the engine not running. Any ideas why the HUD lights but not the dash light? I pulled the codes and all were fine.

I get "Check Gages" indicated on HUD when the fuel is in reserve, the TC is accidently off, and others, BUT the "Check Gages" indicator on the HUD DOES NOT say which of the individual gages to check, you need to look at which gage indicates a potential issue.

I understand the Check Gages indicator on the hud does not specifically tell you what the issue is. My problem is that the indicator shows up on the hud display but not on the dash at all. The indicator will illuminate on the dash when the key is turned on just like the check engine, brake, airbag, traction control light will illuminate then will go off after the various systems have completed their self check. So I know the indicator light is working. It just doesn't illuminate on the dash when it illuminates on the hud.

However, when the "check gages" indicator lights up on my dashboard (when i start the car) it does not show up on the up on the hud, therefore i believe that in this instance ("check gage" indicator) this specific message will not show up in both places. I might be wrong, can someone with knowledge of this speak up ?
