Default Tick speedbleeder install

Just got a tick speedbleeder. It's got a washer between the hose and the fitting. Is this washer supposed to be removed and installed on the other side of the fitting against the slave? Do I need to use anything on the threads on the fitting to the slave and hose?

Don't want to install it like it is and find out it's wrong after everything is bolted up.

Thanks

you mean a remote bleeder for the clutch? Then, yes, the washer goes between the fitting and the slave. Try the fitting by hand first w/o the washer and make sure the fitting will thread all the way down. When you take the OEM bleeder fitting out the threads can gall and keep the new fitting from going all the way in. (happened to me, anyway)

Did you use any thread sealer on any of the threads?

no thread sealer, no teflon tape either, no loctite either. The second time, I chased the threads in the slave and put the fitting in. Then checked for leaks after re-assembling the quick disconnect. The quick disconnet needs to be properly coupled, or you may dead-head the master. Thedrive train has to be connected together to get the QD coupler together, so the only view for a leak is with the inspection cover removed.
