Default Tranny build question

Just got done with my motor swap, clutch, slave, etc etc. Raced a friend the other day(at the track of course) and it was the first time i actually revved and shifted at 6800. Well, when i went to shift into 3rd it was like hitting a brick wall. Did this 3 times in a row. Shifts fine all the way up til around 6k.

I assume the syncros are going. Priced a few places online for rebuilds, 1000$ plus shipping gets me....
-Carbon kevlar synchro rings
-Keys and springs
-Fork pad kit
-Seals
-Billet 3-4 keys
-Steel 3-4 shift fork

Anything else i should do while in there? Any shops you recommend?

Thinking of using texas drivetrain performance....

Well,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Before I would drop change on a transmission rebuild, I would make sure that the clutch is properly disengaging properly.

Make sure that the Master/Slave is properly blead and you have FULL CLUUTCH DISENGAGEMENT!

Put the transmission in gear and rev up the engine and see if the car moves. It shouldn’t!

Check out what Rick Kim has to offer and recommend if you have to rebuild the trans.
