Losing voltage on battery while the car runs!!!
2003 Z06 with 32k miles, never had any problems with the car until 3 weeks ago when I let the car idle for twenty minutes with the heater on at the highest setting.
that day I pulled out of the driveway and the service engine soon message came on as did the abs light. I could hear popping sound coming from the speakers and the display was dimming and coming back normal.
battery is new from last year (Die Hard platinum) and the car is on the Ctek charger when the car sits for more than two weeks
same thing happened today and when the popping sound came from the radio the battery voltage dropped everytime to around 9volts and back to 14.2 after the sound
somebody knows whats going on there??

Start at the battery,, Are the cables LOOSE? Can you move either of the battery cables by hand???
Disconnect the battery cables, clean the terminals and the battery pads.. Recharge the battery while its disconnected.
Reconnect and PROPERLY TORQUE the battery cables to 11 FT/LBS.
While the battery is disconnected, jack the front and check the connections on the starter solenoid. The alternator charge wire to the battery connects there. Clean and retorque that connection. Check the torque on the nut on the back of the alternator.
See if that solves your charging issues.
