I was wondering the same thing. Have an opportunity to get C6 wheels and tires from my neighbor.
What would be needed to make it work or is it just not technically possible ? Anything like changing early C5s to 2001+ tpms ?

YES YOU CAN UP-GRADE the EARLY C5 TPS to the LATE modle C5 TPS system. Its easy as contacting Gene Cully or Patrick at www.gmpartshouse.com and ordering his up-grade kit. You get new FOBs, New TPS's a and a New RFA module.

C6 TPS and FOBS will NOT work on any C5 and CAN NOT "easily" be adapted to work!
I guess if you spent enough cash, you could coble any upgrade to fit into a C5, but,, its not a tried or easy thing to do.
