c6z06 shocks
Just got my new c6z06 shocks. Installing on a 2004 C5 coupe.
Opened box and saw no hardware provided with the front shocks. I know I can use the washer and nut over again but how about the rubber bushing?
should I get new ones? Or do you take a chance on the old ones? Guess hardware does not come with them.
Any help appreciated.

oh no. keep the lower bushing that fits in your frame hole. that's the item you want to replace. the upper insulator that fits over it is what you reuse.
worst part about changing front shocks is getting them in and out. i tried a variety of ways and finally settled on loosening the upper control arms. you don't have to unbolt them, just back them off enough for the shock to come out
