I had my ebcm repaired and when I bought it the guy gave me the pump also. When I went to install it I had to remove it again and I broke 2 of the 6 T20 screws on the bottom and they are broke off in the pump. I was going to install it with just the 4(2 top 2 middle) and thought just replace the pump since I have a extra. Looks like it is held on by 6 or 8 brake lines and 2 nuts on the side. Is that pretty much it? What will I have to do after I do this? Bleed the brakes? Get a tech2 or should I just intsall the new ebcm with the 4 screws and call it good? Also what size are those T20 screws? I lost the other ones so i need the size, pitch and length on those. I'm sure i can get them from GM but for big $$$$. I'm sure I can find them at Ace or somewhere like that. Thanks
Getting those screws out should be a piece of cake.
They are NOT galded inplace. You can probably slot the remainder of what is left with a dremmel tool and back the broken part out with a screw driver.
OR,
Drill a small hole in the screw/s and use a small easy out.
Jack the car up in the front and work the repair from the bottom for better access.
If your pump is working,,,,,,, I would do all that I could to NOT replace the pump.
If you absolutly must use only four screws, MAKE SURE that you apply some Blue Sensor Safe RTV on the module sealing surface to keep the module water tight!!!!!!!!!!!!! If water gets in,, its going to make a great book end
Dont know that the specs are on the screw but just take one to the hard ware store and match it up. Make sure its plated or corossion resistant.

Yeah I was wondering if trying to extract it from the bottom would be feisable. I can take the module out without removing the airbridge so I will give it a shot. I don't have any screws to take to the hardware store, that's the thing I lost the 6 and the one I have is one of the broken ones. No clues where the other set is. Ill look again
IF,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, there is any screw sticking out of the hole, you can slot the screw and use a screwdriver to try to back it out. Heck, you may even be able to just press the screwdriver blade tight on the broken screw and back it out. Give that a try.
If all that fails,,, YES a very small reverse rotation easy out bit
Unfortunately its broken off flush with the unit. I didn't notice it until I put the new module and and couldn't get the bottom screws out. In which I took the module out I broke off a solenoid from the board. Luckily I was able to get it repaired so I want everything to go smooth this time. Thanks again for your help Bill
