Top Down Valet Question.. How do i Activate Accessory Power ??
I recently installed my "Top Down Valet " and i have successfully programmed the unit to do everything ...With the exception of "power on when the key is removed "..I've attempted to program this feature with no success..
Here are the steps i've taken..
* Push Reset on DIC and Unlock on door
* Enter #4 on DIC
* Enter #3 on DIC ( Configure accessory power )
* Enter #4 on DIC ( This will activate power on exit & power on triple unlock FOB )
The tach goes up 1K with each step ..then goes to zero..as if i have programmed the unit successfuly..But this feature is still not activated.
Maybe someone can let me know what i am missing ??

Hmmmmm, I just had a thought .. I don't have the factory BOSE head unit installed in my car...I've got an Alpine ...Could this be why its not accepting the program ?

You don't have to enter the configuation menu each time. Just press reset 3 times (needle to 1000) then press 3 (once) accessory power is on.

Hey Jeff,
I upgraded to an Alpine system too and I lost the ability to "power on with key off" as well. I just assumed it was the Alpine head unit. If you can figure out how to get that feature to work again, let me know. :crazy:

To tell if your stereo will work with this option, turn off the Corvette and pull out the key. With both doors closed, the Corvette will maintain accessory power on its own. Power windows still work and the stock radio still works. If your aftermarket radio loses power during this situation, then it must be getting power from a source switched by the ignition switch. In this case, when the Window Valet restores accessory power to the stock electronics, the after-market radio may not get power.
We're sorry if this has caused any troubles or confusion,
