If you replace damaged, worn or defective wires and plugs, you will gain back any LOST performance that was caused by the bad plugs and wires.
In fact,, ported 160 deg stats don't directly ADD power either. It just helps keep the engine cooler so timing isn't reduced when it very hot
Real increases can be seen by adding, LT headers, Cold Air Intakes, CAM and ported higher compression heads (on NA applications)
Once you start increasing POWER, you will find out that you have to improve other parts; Bigger injectors, better valve springs push rods and rockers, ect Oh,, then theres the TUNE.. It has to be done..
Then some find that their clutch goes south or their A4 cant handle the power or the rear end pops an output shaft.
Its a slippery slope and a sickness!!
