Have you considered OBX? http://youtu.be/cjm-9ygnJTY. Hard to beat the price. They also fit well, and seem to last well.

Hard to beat $800 shipped too ! 
I'm never taking my GHL Bullets off. No drone, and deep muscle-car sound.
B&B Bullets drone badly
Borla Stingers drone too.
Corsa sound great if you have supporting mods (Long tubes etc..) Otherwise they sound like a motorboat. No drone.
Stock Z06 Ti's sound great with a full heads/cam setup. No drone. A little too quiet for me though.
Sound is a touchy subject though. Everyone has there own opinion on what they like.

On my friends stock C5 vert he put a Corsa Extreme on and at idle and low RPM cruising it sounded like a motorboat.
My other friend has a C5Z with heads/cam etc.... He has the Corsa Indy and it sounds BAD AZZ !
I had Corsa Touring on my car for a while with my heads/cam setup and it sounded GREAT ! It was just a little too quiet for me.
Then I went to GHL Bullets and got the sound I wanted with no drone and deep muscle car sound. Great cam sound at idle, and beautiful tone at WOT.

Did your friend have the X-pipe installed? Corsa recommends installing a proper aftermarket X-pipe or XO-pipe with their Extremes. This normally eliminates the motorboat sound and any popping between gear shifts. I also have the Corsa XO-pipe with my system and it sounds perfect.

Well, I got my B&B Bullets for $620 shipped, brand new, so I'm not really worried about wasting a ton of money. I'm debating on selling my stock Ti, or hanging on to it and seeing if I don't like the bullets. To OP, what are you trying to get out of the exhaust? Do you want to turn heads? Have that smooth sound at idle? Do you like loud? I personally want my car to sound as loud as I can. I bought a V8 to have that muscle car sound, and I know other car enthusiats will like to hear it. I hate seeing a sick muscle car drive by and not being able to hear it. Just my two cents.

I run the BORLA XR1, Some hate the "drone" ...I like it! It is the same as Borla Aggressive Exhaust w/ Dual Round Tips at marylandspeed.com

If you want it somewhat quiet, yet still want people to know your there, but want it to roar when you romp on it the Ti's are perfect with LT's. Maybe start with that and then choose the mufflers.
