update on my transmission

update on my transmission
so I put the stock shifter back in the car( 03 Z06) and re adjusted the shifter assembly took it for a drive, yep still grinding going into 4th gear, and if you up shift it will grind into 3rd..only two gears that it does that in.
after some reading I am thinking it's a bent shift fork or the blocker rings..either way I am going to have to pull the transmission and have it looked at ...and Bill Curlee thanks a ton for the advise you have given me thus far it's greatly appreciated!!
so my task this weekend is I suppose is to pull the tranny out of the car..any tips from other's who have done this ?

derekdj87 I am thinking about the same guy that did my dad's 1969 427 transmission, he did a wonderful job on it..i just need to talk to him first and see if he is interested in the newer vette transmissions, but he pretty damn good and knows his **** ..I will let you know
