Help what kind brake fluid

I am changing out the brakes, lines ETc. on my 04 ZO-6 ,I just got it and the fluid comeing out is BLUE no smell .. anyway to tell if Synthetic or Reg. Dot 4 ??????

I am betting you prob have the ate super blue racing fluid which is very good stuff, if its ate stuff then its a dot 4

Thanks for the info. I think it's Super blue also.. I could not find any at the parts stores around here so I just put in some good Synthetic for now but will find some of the blue and change it out .. I just got the Z and it the org. stuff may have been changed for this blue stuff.. I installed front sloted and driled with Hawk HP+ pads stanless lines stop right now . Didn't have time to install the back ones yet.. The stock setup just wasen't working for me..

I think I'll be going with the same set up.

I have the regular Hawk pads in the front right now and they dust like crazy. Rotors could stand to be changed also.

I tryed the set up today and over stock pads and rotors way better stoping power and I like the stanless lines also . I got the ones on sale on the forum ,with lines pads rotors the works under$500.00 for the deal not bad... day and night better brakes.. I stock stuff is just junk going in the can...Ceramic not bad on dust ,the dust will be a red color not black and easy to wash off, the HP+ ETc , lot's dust and hard to get off wheels ECT. But will stop the vet for sure.... Go for it..
