Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,,,,, The ONLY thing in your build that is going to add HP/TQ so far are the Heads & Cam.

What size cam???

What will be the compression ratio???? I have Patriot Performance Ported Stage 2 heads 12.5:1 Cr with bigger intake valves, Ti retainers.

I have an 02 Z with 450 RWHP.

Here are some things that you should be installing or doing:

Reliablability up-grades:

New rocker trunions (COMP CAMS)
Use the ARP HEAD STUDS (MUCH BETTER)
New dampener I used Powerbond. Recommend pinning the damper to the crank! I used the ATI Pinning kit on the Powerbond damper with the key way in the damper hub.
If you use a fast intake, MAP Relocation kit

LIFTERS! DONT SKIMP If you dont like the LS7 lifters (some dont) use some of the new linked lifters.
NOTE, use a PUSH ROD Measuring tool to get the CORRECT lifter preload!!!!!! DO it once do it right do it the first time!

NOTE!! You need a HIGH VOLUME Oil Pump!!!!!! Not high pressure, I used a melling unit.

Horse Power stuff!

New 36 or 42 lb/hr injectors. I used the 42s and they worked out excellent. Your tuner will be able to tell you if 36s are adequate.
FAST 92 intake I ported my own FAST 90
90mm TB (for the FAST Intake)
VARARAM Cold air Intake
PROFESSIONAL TUNE!! Who is doing your tuning?

Long Tube SS HEADERS,, You didnt say if you had then. I coated mine!

If your block has the holes between the timing chain for the timing chain dampener, purchase and install the dampener! Sort of more reliability stuff!

If your car is anything like mine and it still has the stock clutch,, it will MOST LIKELY start sticking to the floor on your FIRST full throttle pass!! Thats what mine did. Sort of more reliability stuff!

I now have a SPEC Clutch/ TICK Master and all new clutch components. Sort of more reliability stuff!

Install a REMOTE CLUTCH SLAVE BLEEDED! Sort of more reliability stuff!

Rearend

It will need to be strengthened if you have any type of tires that grip!.

TORQUE TUBE!!!

Tear it down and examine the rubber couplers now. If you dont, you will shortly after your engine install! If the rubber couplers are cracked or deformed, REPLACE THEM! The stock rubber ones will work FINE!

Lets see,,,,,,,,,,, Been there,,, DONE that,, still have the greasy bloody torn T shirt!

my 00 couple dynoed right at 450 rwhp. To get that we did the PRC 5.3l CNC heads shaved .030 with a cometic thin gasket to raise compression to 11:1, a TSP 228R cam, FAST, and long tubes. All we needed was 30lb injectors and stayed well under the 85% threshold.

I agree with Bill. First thing I thought when reading the list was, "these are all rebuild parts" with exception of the ported heads and the cam. The cam will be the deciding factor so we would need the specs to make a call on it. You will need a good intake and exhaust supporting the build to make 450 at the wheels.

Baxsom sounds right on the money

YES I DO!

I paid $750 for my New Fast 90 manifold and could NOT see spending close to that to again to have it ported. SO,,,,,,,, I decided to do the porting myself.

First thing that you have to realize is The DAMN THING IS PLASTIC and material comes off at an alarming rate if you are NOT CAREFUL!

Luckily, I was careful and conservative. The FAST 90/92 is constructed from three parts: Top Cover, inside runner divider and the base. Most of the porting is done on that inside runner part and the base at the openings for each intake port. I do some smoothing in the TB Opening but not too much.

I tried to post pics from work BUT,, it wont work properly so, I will add pics later tonight when I get home.
