Blackwing install time
For those of you that have done it, what is the approximate time it takes to install the Blackwing? (I am fairly handy with tools) I am trying to plan my weekend. Thanks!

What he said. About 20 mins on a cold motor. Make sure that the clamps are tight around the silicone hoses and that the silicone hoses are snug around the mouth of the Blackwing and the throttle body. FYI.... if you want to make that Blackwing into a true/real CAI, modify the shroud for outside air. There is a thread here on the forum that will be a help. 2 hrs and less than $20 for a CAI thats as effective as the $500+ Honker.

Great mod to start out with. Nice and simple and will better acquaint you with your vehicle. Look into the Throttle Body Bypass mod and maybe knock this out too while you're at it. This will help for future mods by making it cleaner and simpler every time the intake system needs to come apart, and theoretically may add a pony or two by cooling the air/fuel charge.
