Under pass. seat

I am trying to install some new seats in my 04Z. Under the inboard pass. seat track is something aprox. 2"x2" glued down with wires going to it. It will not let the new seat mount bolt down. What is it and can it be moved? A second option I could extend the front mounts enough to clear it.

Lateral G sensor. I'd assume if you were to move it, you would need to keep it in the same orientation, although I'm not an expert on it so I'll let others chime in.
