anyone have advice after a new 6 yr battery replaced. I'm getting o2 sensors /catalyst/ "not ready"...need one of these to pass, I've believe I completed all the driving cycles mentioned here/ and 700 miles... someone mentioned to have it flashed/updated ....? or keep driving it awhile longer.
Not specifically on corvettes, but in the past I have seen some cars that will not consider those tests passed until different driving condition scenarios have been met. Have all of those 700 miles been mainly highway? Have you done any "aggressive" driving with it?
I can't imagine you needing a flash or update to your PCM.
If all else fails I would personally unhook the battery for 10 minutes and go through the driving cycles again.
edit:
(just saw you said you have done the driving cycles - so my bad for asking - but keep in mind cold starts, hot start, and different driving conditions are all used to decide when the test are ready)
Definitely check the cables for tight connections and make sure you are not shorting out and resetting your computer as recommended above by 8vette7
