I have tested my speedometer and it shows 6 miles/hour to high at all speeds!
I have an A4 with 3:15, and my questions are:
- is there any way to correct this?
- does it mean that my odometer also will show to many miles?
I think the descrepancy is too much, what do you think?

How did you conduct the test (just curious - not implying your results are inaccurate)?
Using the mile markers on just about any highway, you set the cruise for 60 mph. If your speedometer is accurate, it should take exactly 1 minute to go 1 mile.

Weird, normally the descripency changes as speed changes. If in fact it is off then you are registering 6 miles more than you should for each hour you drive. You might want to check the accuracy by timing how long it takes to go between mile markers on the interstate at 60MPH -- a minute a mile. The easiest way to check it is to use a GPS.
I have had it tested at a Testing facility where the accuracy is 100%, its performed on a "dyno" where the car is "standing still" while the speed of the wheels are transmitted to a computer.
I still have original wheels and tires, the car just turned 3000 miles.
It sure puzzles me!
