I've got a 2001 A4 coupe, and it has a couple bolt-ons (HallTech t-1, Magnaflow w/x-pipe, powerloader II). I'd like to get a cam/kit that will put out good power, driveability, and has to pass emissions testing. I'll probably put a stall speed, headers(Yank 3500,FLP kit), on it later, maybe even heads (Andy@A&A heads), but for now, just want one that has good power. I was looking at either TR224, or a Comp cams XE-R series. What would you guys recommend, and what do you have, and do you like it?
Re: Another cam question................ (2000^C5)
Yes, the converter will give you more gains (also having the computer tuned to alter the tranny functions, etc). I suggest a 3500 stall :D
If you go with a cam, get the TR224 on a 114 LSA, Comp 918's, Comp's Ti retainers and chromemoly pushrod kit cam kit and you'll be VERY happy. Contact Paul @ThunderRacing for more info. http://www.thunderracing.com
