AC was working fine six months ago when I parked it. Now it will not come on. Any trouble shooting I can do?

well....when you say "won't come on" do you mean the display in the car or the compressor won't come on?

My guess is you have a slow leak somewhere...maybe bad seals at the valves....compressor leaking....

look for black or greenish oily stuff around the valves....is your compressor oily?

if you are low on freon the compressor won't come online...

also if your outside ambient temp sensor is bad you cannot turn the unit on....

so back to my first question....

I've got a ac ? too.System is full and works if you jump the compressor. But if you try to push the AC button in the car the light comes on and goes rt off.Never engages the compressor clutch. Is there a sequence of tests I can do?

When you push AC button it lights up fans blow but compressor doesn't come on, when you drive it the air blowing becomes slightly cool. I will look at the other things you mentioned. I appreciate your feedback.

If the light stays on the compressor is engaged. You probably have a slow leak and just need a charge. Did you notice if the passenger side was cold?

well if they are not lit up because the connections in the panel are bad thats one thing and a totally separate issue ....but if you turn the AC on and the light comes on but goes off immediately that usually means the compressor is not engaging for some reason....no freon / low freon are the main two reasons

It was just evacuated and refilled. If you jump the compressor the light stays on and it cools to 51 degrees.
