Header / Cam advice
Coming back from deployment I want to treat myself to a little more power. So far on the engine/drivetrain side I've got a vararam intake, 3.9 gears, and high flow cats (99 C5). I also have a piecemeal exhaust welded up of Magnaflow mufflers, Corsca pipes etc that came with the car.
I'm interested in putting a cam in, adding long tube headers (looking at LG pro street), and potentially having the heads ported and polished.
I've been working 13 hour days 7 days a week in AF and haven't had the time to do proper research. I know. I was hoping you educated individuals could point me in the best direction for what you would do and how. I've got 8k loose to spend, but would like to keep as much as possible in the bank. A tune will be done after upgrade regardless.
