Trying to get a Photo of where to add Trans Fluid in my 2000 Automatic. Most post Ive read say to remove a plug with a sending unit on it, all I see is the drain plug on the side of the Trans Pan...Thanks in advance for any help. Bobby
The plug on the driver's side of the tranny pan. You need to raise the car, start it and leave it in Park, remove the plug, fill through the port until the tranny fluid overflows slightly and put the plug back in. It's a good Idea to shift the tranny through all gears to ensure it's sufficiently filled.
It's a bit of a pain to fill through the pan port but there's no other option due to the mid-ship placement. I use a fluid pump which makes it fairly easy. Becare working under th car with the engine running - safety first. I have a lift at home so it makes it pretty easy. You may just want to take it to a shop and let them do this for you if you don't have an easy way to get the car high/stable enugh.

Thanks for the info, Just finished it. They could have made this a little easier. That exhaust pipe is the problem...Thanks Again, Bobby

FYI, the service manual states the fluid temp must be between 86 - 122 degrees F to correctly measure the fluid level.
It makes a BIG difference. I checked mine hot and it was "full". Then waited until it cooled down to the proper temp, I was then 22 oz. shy of being full.
