You can use any three they list on their website. Torque drive, fuel efficient or multi vehicle. I have been running the fuel efficient in mine for almost 3 years and 20K miles. Noticed a difference in shifting immediately. I had about 43K on it when I swapped it out. Have Amsoil in everything I own and its an excellent product line.

More than happy to get AMSOIL products for forum members at dealer wholesale pricing, about 25% below retail, via the AMSOIL Preferred Customer Program. Drop me a PM if interested.
FYI If you go on to Amsoil's website and enter your vehicle information and it will display all recommended fluids, spark plugs, wiper blades, etc. Print it off for future reference.
I have used AMSOIL products for 25 years and have always had excellent results.Using the new DOMINATOR 15W50 Race Oil in my older big block Muscle Car that needs the ZINC.I am running Amsoil 5W30 in the C5 engine. And have had Amsoil universal trans fluid in my 454 tow vehicle and have not changed it for 10 years !! It seems that the Torque Drive is a thicker viscosity than the multi vehicle ? Torque Drive has a DEX III rating that is acceptable in the C5 auto.I have ordered the Torque Drive already so I am going to try that.I have read in other threads and posts that other C5 automatic owners are using the Torque Drive in their automatic as well as the stick cars ? I have read that the Torque Drive will shift a little more firmly than the multi vehicle and that is why Amsoil suggests using the multi vehicle ? As long as no one tells me that the trans will blow up if I use Torque Drive Then I am good to go ? LOL !!
The Torque Drive actually has a slightly lower viscosity than the Multi-vehicle: 7.4 cSt at 212F vs. 7.5 cSt for the Multi-vehicle.
I believe the real difference is that the Torque Drive has no viscosity improvers thus is a more robust fluid (designed for the Allison transmission) which will not experience viscosity shear down - not to imply the Multi-vehicle will. Both are extremely shear resistant. I use the Torque Drive in my RV and used it in my GMC 3500 HD pickup (recently sold).
Both are Dex III - you are fine with the Torque Drive.
Changed the trans fluid and used the Torque Drive and the trans shifts well and working excellent. No down sides. Also replaced the diff lube with severe gear. I would suggest using the AMSOIL products.I have been using them for over 20 years.Premium quality.
