engine swap question
Hey guys and gals, so im getting the itch to start modding my 99 c5 6spd vette again. I was looking at super and turbo charger setups but i dont want to spend the 6k, so that being said im thinking of a 6.0 swap. possibly a lq4 with l92 heads ls3 manifiold and a good cam. is anyone running this kind of setup ? if so whats involded in the swap. what kind of hp numbers should i expect? cam choice? do i need headers? thanks for any help

thats where i in the gray on. iv heard people spending that kind of money and iv also heard of around 3k. local speed shop has l92 heads with aftermarket double springs for 550 used . i found a low mileage lq4 at a local yard for 600 and a ls3 mani for 400 with rail and injectors. so i think i could get it done on the cheap minus tune and i can install . but im not sure about cam selection and if i need headers
