I recently bought a set of ti's. The seller just bubble wrapped the tips real good. They arrived in good shape. It was ups shipping

my 03 z was stock when I got it...after I installed the lg headers I thought the Ti were to raspy sounding so I switched over the corsa indy setup and could not be happier..and I for one like that fact it has all the movement in the setup, it allows to get everything lined up perfectly...using the the clamps provided they have not moved once on me at all

Now you've hit the nail on the head! I may be 71 but thought if I didn't wear my hearing aids things would equal out. I still wring it out though and had to install a shift light - I was hitting the fuel shut off in 1st & 2nd! I'm not your average "old geezer" and yes, I wear my jeans where they belong and not under my armpits!

They are definitely not too loud, maybe you had a leak IDK.

Ya you need to torque the clamps to something like 51 ft/lbs. Not gonna get that with just a gear wrench like I am sure some guys on here use to tighten the clamps.

after listening to that idle (which sounded great) mine are definitely not too loud. I did hear what sounded like an air leak on the clip. Is it a suck or blow (minds out of the gutter) and from where?

Well, out of 100% coincidence I had a local guy text me who just bought an 03 z06 and wanted the factory Ti's back on it, and said his exhaust was a little louder than the Ti's but didn't exactly know what they were. They ended up being Corsa Pace cars Installed them this morning and dang! I love them!! I'd keep the Corsa's on your car and keep a set of Ti's for backup

The tips also make a difference. Mine has two huge ovals that act like trumpets. Exhaust leaks aren't noticeable for my anymore, with the blower noise.
