Won't start after driving
My friend Marky just purchased a 99 C5 w/6 spd stick. He drives it a few days it seems to operate just fine. He stopped in a coffee shop, when he came out it would do nothing. All the dash lights come on but the starter will not even click. He had it towed to a garage where he was familier with the owner. The battery tested at only five volts. Just purchasing the car and not knowing the history on the battery the mechanic informed him that his battery was bad. A new battery finds a home in his C5. A few days later the car did exactly the same thing. When he and his wife come out of the restaurant the car lights up but will not even turn over. The car is towed again. The tow driver calls Marky to let him know that the car was back at the repair shop and it started for him to drive it onto the tow truck.
Anybody ever experience this problem?

Our club "Mid West Corvettes" is putting on a Low Speed Autocross. I have a bunch of the gear and need to be there 0630 about 20 miles away. Couldn't sleep with my back pain so I hit my inversion table then check my email and there you are with life saving breath. You don't know how much Marky and I appreciate you and this Forum. Many thanks!
