My main problem destroying the rubber hoses due to lack of understanding and patience .
I ripped the thing apart thinking old hoses are no good anyway. Well, I would up fabricating a new cruise control vacuum connector in the rear, and buying a system assembly to replace what I though was just a simple old hose on the side.
Well lessons learned this time hopefully. You should always remove everything carefully and in a way that you know how it goes back together. There are important hoses and connections on the back side of the manifold that will really make life hell if you dont get them back together right. Hopefully you will get everything buttoned up right.
What was the reason for removal? Did you have a vacuum leak that made you think gaskets? Usually, if it has been off before, someone would have neglected said things in the back.
