I replaced my steering position sensor on my 02 and now my dash has no working gauges or DIC. I checked the fuses but have not seen any blown. Any ideas please?
Not sure but did you make sure you kept track of the position of the steering wheel while doing the job? I have heard folks can get it flipped around pretty easy and not realize til they are done because of problems. But again, I am not sure if your symptoms are in line with what I have read in the past... Just trying to help figure it out.
The steering wheel was kept in the same position the whole Time. Just not sure if I missed a plug or what. The car starts and runs there is just nothing on the dash.
Got it figured out. It was the dreaded pinched wire. It is a thin orange wire that is Right on the back of the cross member. And very easy to get cut. Mine has telescoping steering and is very tight getting out. But found it soldered it back together and heat shrink and all is good.
seeking your help accessing that littlr orange wire. My DIC cuts in and out and I have cleaned all grounds, busses, etc. I think it is a power problem to DIC , as I get numerous com codes. I may try to replace the ignition switch also, but would like to check that little orange bugger.

You have to remove both bottom panels the first on is held in by 4 torx screws 1 is behind trunk release and the other is behing the interior temp sensor. 2 are on the bottom. Then the kick panel below has 2press in and 1 push on towards the rear that one is a pain to get off but you can flatten it back out after you bend it. Then there is a croos member under the steering column and the wire is on the back side of that. There is a pretty big bunch of wires there rapped with black tape. It is the little 22 or 24 gauge wire on the top of that bunch of wires. Might be easier to pull steering column to see it. And if you do that you might as well replace the steering position sensor while you have it out.
Hope this helps
