Water pump bolt torque??
Having a gasket seal issue with a 5.3
Replacing the pump this week as its too much work to do for just a gasket
Most my experience is with Gen 1 stuff dont want to over/under torque these gaskets and have it seep again
Any sealers needed or put on dry?
Surprised to find ACDelco pumps are made in China now 1 yr warranty
only, and almost 300!! Airtex is still made in America with lifetime warranty found one for 100 and the housing for 60. Give it a shot.
BTW engine has almost 150k, typical DD use
Should I bother with a timing chain at this point or let it ride?
