Differential Temperature?
Well I swapped my old 2.73 carrier out and put the new gears in. After topping off the differential and tranny I took the car for a spin.
About 10 minutes of figure 8s, another 10 minutes of high speed action on the 210 and 10 minutes on surface streets. When I pulled the car back into the garage I put my hand on the differential and it was about 160 degrees. (i.e. too hot to check the fluid level)
Is this a normal temp for the differential or is something wrong? I have never put my hand on the differential after driving before.
