Default 2000 Corvette PCM

I am trying to find out the PN for the PCM in my 2000 Corvette without actually pulling it out. Haven't found much useful online. Any ideas?

I dont have the #s on hand, but people will definitely need to know Automatic or Manual to help you.

The PCM itself is Service number 09354896

Common in a few different cars. Not just the c5.

What will be specific is the programming for your car, right down to the VIN.

I ask because I am told that the factory PCM can, thru programming, retard timing for boost/NO2 usage. I have not heard this, but him and his tuner insist that you can. After researching it appears the 0411 PCM can be programmed to do this, but was unable to find out if my car has that 1 or not.

The PCMs for the Corvette are programmable to a degree, 97-98 and 99-2004 have some different features. The PCM itself if basically a 16hz computer with 512kb of computing space of which 90kb is programmable. Each computer was given an operating system based on whether it was a 6 speed or auto and, I was told, if it was for CARB emissions or normal emissions. The firmware handled much of the functions and contained the algorithms for the car so most of your programming was a work around that firmware or simple changes like running E10 gas, tire sizes, etc.

A competent tuner can program you car to run N02 by making the necessary adjustments for timing, injectors, air flow, etc.

I have heard of using the Inlet air Temp table as a nitrous retard, basically remove the IAT sensor and replace with a switchable resistor then adjust the table accordingly.
Same function would work with the stock PCM.
I need to read more about the 0411 PCM, I'm not sure why it's more desirable than the 4896.

Also, for boost with a turbo or blower, you would use HPT to change the operating system to a 2 bar or 3 bar map system. Again, this works with either PCM.
