I have the dual climate control, but for some reason when I select the mode it is completely ignored. It seems that where the air is coming from determines where it will come out. For example if the air is on recirc it will come out the top vents, if it is fresh air it will only come out the floor, no matter what my display says.:( Has anyone seen this before or have any suggestions?
If you still have your Delco battery, check it for acid leaks. Fairly well known problem that acid drips down under the tray and eats through some of the vacuum lines there. I lost A/C, the smog air pump, and some other stuff. Took 2 trips to dealer to get it worked out.
If under warranty, insist on a Delco AGM battery or replace it yourself with an Optima red top. You can mount these upside down and they won't leak. Search in the archives for more battery leak nightmares.
Good luck and hope it not anything as bad as I have described.
There doesn't seem to be any acid leak, and the strange part is all of the vents work, they just have nothing to do with what mode I put it on. I can't get fresh air from the top vents, I can only get fresh air from the floor, and recirced air through the front vents. At least the front defroster works fine. I think my climate control module may just be screwed up. I guess this is going to be a dealer issue.
