I got my engine back in pieces. I'm trying to figure out the power steering pump. Does the pulley just press on? What is the best way to put it back on once the pump is mounted?

Press on. Use pulley installer. Buy metal LS2 PS pulley. Allows convenient access to pump mounting bolts. GM part # 12568997
MUCH better and inexpensive, also plug-n-play (no belt change).
Tip: make note of exact location of old pulley on shaft and press new one on to same location. Important for belt alignment.
OK... I bought the new pulley from GM... Then I immediately destroyed my power steering pump, trying to press it on. Would anyone like to share the CORRECT way to install the pulley?
