PASSENGER WINDOW WONT ROLL UP, HELP!
600 miles out of warranty on my '99 coupe and my passenger window wont roll up. The display says reduced power, service active handling, service traction control.....service everything. I have spent $750 at my dealer already and still no window. They said I needed a window control module, $251 part, no refunds, special order. I just had that put in and still no window. The outside mirror wont work either. Burt chevrolet here in Denver is no help. I can't drive my car with the window stuck halfway down! Can anybody help?

I had a similar problem after the PCM was reprogammed for the ATI Procharger install. I couldn't operate either window or the door locks. Cerra Racing used a GM scanmaster tool to reset the communication with the BCM (body control module) and it worked. Also, coincidence or not, the steering wheel position sensor failed causing the "Service Active Handling" and "Service Vehicle Soon" messages. This sensor is scheduled to be replaced at the dealer next week. Do you have any water in the passenger floor board area? Many have had a clogged AC drip tube causing numerous electrical failures.

Also, the dreaded column lock switch can cause a number of problems. If this switch dose not activate quickly enough when the key is put in, several of the modules will not communicate properly.
