Clutch Condition
Hi Folks. I bought my 98 6-speed vert about three years ago with 77k miles. It now has just under 81k miles. The car came with no paperwork, and I doubt any service was done at a Chevy dealer (for e-records). The car had a tough life before me, and I've done alot to recondition it (new foam and covers for the seats, headlight gear, Borla, HVAC dim fix, antenna, wheels & tires, rotors & pads, Ranger method fluid change, HVAC mixer door motors, Blackwing, etc.). The only wild card is the clutch condition, which pulls strong, but I'm paranoid about when/if it and the slave will need replacing. Is there an inspection window or any other way to tell how much material/life is left (without major disassembly), or will I need to just live with the uncertainty?
