Quick HVAC question... WHAT IS THIS?
Working on my 2003 Z06. I got the usual B0441 and B0361 codes so I'm trying to index the HVAC controller before I just go buy a new one.
When I took the driver's side HVAC out, I noticed the two wires (green/black and yellow/black) with a connector hanging off the HVAC harness, but not connected to anything. I can't see anything this connector would attach to.
The connector is circled in the picture below. The other connector in the picture plugs directly into the HVAC controller.
Just want to know what it goes to, if anything.

I changed my HVAC actuator this weekend and came across the same wires which looked as though they had been taped up when the car was built, it is probably for some type of option/accessory which could be ordered, I ignored it and it remains there, actuator works fine now although the part is quite expensive, hope that helps

Hello,
