IPC UV Light Ballast
My IPC UV lights do not work and I am in the diagnostic stage. I am rather sure it will end up being the ballast. Does anyone know a source for a new ballast? I would prefer to have it on hand if I have to pull the IPC.

PS: So as to not waste your time, I do have the schematics and experience in diagnostics. The dimmer seems to control the brightness of everything else except the UV IPC lights. They never come on even with the headlights up and on. With that said, if anyone has experienced this and resolved this issue I would welcome your input.

Everytime that I have seen that light go bad, its been because the DC to AC inverter board FRIED!
BIG OLE HOLE in the board.
I hope that not your issue!
Take the HV Module off and examine the board and the transistor that does the inverting.
If you take it apart,,, PLEASE take pictures and provide a write up on what you find.
If you do an advanced search using " Ultra violet light " as a search, there are a few post.
Forum Member Steve Doten may have IPC spare parts.

Hey, that sounds like fun. I used to build inverters as a kid except I had to use vacuum tubes. I don't suppose there is much room in there for tubes. Thanks for the input.
