I went to the track today for the first time w/ my 99 coupe, and it did not run as well as I thought it should :cry It was a little hot (around 95 degrees) Here is my vehicle specs: 99 Coupe, A4 w/ G92,F45.
I have installed the Z06 air box w/ K&N filter & air coupler, NGK TR55 plugs w/ Taylor wires, B&B Tri flo PRT, BFG drag radials,
My runs are as follows:
#1) 60 foot 2.108, 1/4 e.t. 13.703 @ 101.76
#2) 60 foot 2.089, 1/4 e.t. 13.592 @ 102.31
#3) 60 foot 2.064, 1/4 e.t. 13.477 @ 102.58

All the factory #s say 106-108 trap speed and the guys from Cartek were there and even they said I should be going faster!
What am I doing wrong :mad or are these #s right? :confused:

Time to strap it on the dyno with an autotap or ease program and record some traces of what the car is doing at WOT in all the RPM ranges..

If you are really going to get into the performance side of your vehicle you and you dont have anyone to help you out with all of this... you should consider buying at least the ease program.

Going to a dyno is one answer, But my main concern is are these #s off or are they close for a mostly stock C5? I had a 94 coupe A4 that was bone stock and it ran a best of 13.444 @ 102.44, and a 1990 A4 conv. that ran 13.994 @ 96.55. Both of these cars did not have the power that the C5 has but they seem to run very close. :confused:

Your times are good for your mods... If youwant to dial your car in to its full potential, take my advice on the last post. :)

I think you should be going faster with those mods. The decent 60' and low mph and e.t.'s look like a lack of horsepower. Get it on a dyno, it sounds like something isn't 100% right.
