$4,300 Repair bill?
I got the infamous ABS/Traction Control/Handling Warning. I've read all the Posts about the ECBM and have already called ABSfixer, but I have a new wrinkle that I didn't see in previous posts...
Mechanic said the car is throwing a c1214 and a c1236 codes. They say I need both the ECBM and the "motor"- that they tried putting direct power to the "motor" and it didn't kick on... Wants $2144 just for the motor plus $1282 for the ECBM, plus labor.
He said he read on a service bulletin not to do one without the other.
These guys are very honest, just not Corvette/Chevy guys.
Any insights here?
