starting issue
i have a '99 coupe, 6 speed...yesterday i was at a car show and when it was time to leave the damn thing wouldnt start. it would crank but would not start so i tried it a couple of times and finally it started. it did this once before a few weeks ago after it had sat without running for about 2 weeks...any ideas as to what the issue is?

Can you hear the fuel pump priming? Mine would crank but not start. The problem was a bad relay for the fuel pump. You can swap your horn relay for the fuel pump and try it before you buy a new relay for $22.00

I have also had this issue with my 98 I replaced the relay and my
car started right up. I did not know about using the horn relay in a pinch, what a great tip.

ok...just cranked her up....when i first turned the key i didnt hear the fuel pump. i tried to start it and it would just crank....so i turned the key on and off 3 times then i could hear the fuel pump, and it kicked right off.
