Default tires

I remember a thread mentioning a tire that I think started with the letter V or maybe Ver something. I liked what they said and how they looked. Anyone know the one I mean?

You are going to love them! The best tire for the least price. Plus, not made in China.

The full name is Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta. You will love them! #1 rated tire in Europe. Tested against all major brands including Michelin PS2 & Continentals. Excellent pricing, truly affordable. Call Fairmount Tire in Los Angeles, CA for best pricing and availability, talk to Brad.

Treadwear is a little high, though the same as the Hankook V12's. I have V12's now and they are nearing the end of their life and I'd like something with more grip for HPDE.

Is there any place to mail order them? And do they make them in the OEM C5 Z06 sizes?

I did order the Vredestein ultrac sessanta"s (295/35/18) for the rears. Very inexpensive, I think. Everybody (ebay) was about the same price, but I called and went with a former thread's recommendation ( Cleaning out the garage" they are on ebay. They were 239.00 each delivered (So Texas). They had best price.

I love my hankook's for the very reason they grip well for daily driving but can slide it around when I want
