Shifter Linkage Problem
The next day, a friend of mine who is far more mechanically savvy than myself ziptied the linkage on the transmission side so that it would temporarily work and I could get the car home (2 mile drive). He told me that it was very worn and needed replacing. So now it's in my garage with ziptied shifter linkage lol.
My question is: what do I need to buy in order to properly fix this issue? I googled it, searched this forum, etc and I can't seem to find the right answer. I don't even know what the part(s) would actually be called.
Can someone help me out? I'd really appreciate any assistance

Also a search on auto shifter cable will hit on several other posts.
I had the same issue about a year back, the linkage has been zip tied since and has not disconnected.

That's awesome that the zipties have held up so long. As much as I'd like to see how long they'll last for me, I don't want to worry about this issue again. So I still need the part number :P
Thanks for your help!
