I have searched but had no luck. The MPH indicator on my speedo in my 2004 coupe does not light. When I switch to metric all is well and the KPH indicator lights just fine. It's not a big deal but I just like things to work. In sunlight or darkness, it seems to make no difference. Has anyone else experienced this. And can it be fixed without too much trouble? Maybe just a bulb?
Thanks

At the minimum you have to remove the entire gauge cluster to replace the bulb.
I don't know how easy or hard it would be to get to the back to replace the bulb (i assume its a bulb).
Here is post to what the IPC guts look like. I am certain that your light that is out is an incandescent bulb in a black holder that twists in and out. You should see a number of them in one of the pictures. It is similar to the ones in the DIC and Foglight/trunk switch. You would have to remove and try to determine a correct replacement. Radio Shack is a good source for small bulbs or a Forum vendor who does LED conversions. Not sure getting to it is worth the trouble involved unless you like pain. Hope this helps, if not let me know.
Thanks Dadaroo
This is exactly what I was looking for. I would agree. It looks like too much trouble. It will have to wait until there is some other reason to pull the cluster before I get that fixed.
My IPC UV lights do not work, a more impacting issue. I plan to go into it to resolve this Fall. When I do I will figure out what kind of incandescent bulbs it uses and let you know.
