I soaked the front bolts with wd40 yesterday, today i jacked the car up, took front tires off, took the weight off the front spring. The damn bolts wont turn, made several attempts. So **** it stock ride height it is.

My fronts were very hard to turn. I had to apply quite a bit of force to move them. It was almost like each turn got harder.

I used my trusty Ryobi Impact Gun and it got those things spinning in a second.

Edit: The Impact Gun with the High Cap LiOn battery was $129 bucks. Best investment I have ever made for my car.

i unbolted the shock from the lower control arm, then i broke out the breaker bar and they popped loose. Then you were able to turn them with a wrench. It does look alot better now, i'll let it settle for a bit then when my new tires and rims get here i'll get an allignment.

You might find that if you take it for a short drive that it will settle down all the way. It might not drop all the way just sitting there.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/memb...eet-153359.jpg This is just after I pulled it out of the driveway. I could get 3 fingers in each wheel well now.

I don't know why I am having trouble posting pictures now. Just one of those days I guess.

fun stuff. I did mine a few days ago. Ditched the front bolts, and hacked the rear bushings on stock bolt...we will see where it settles. Was pretty easy once I figured out what I was doing. Not used to this leaf spring car stuff.
