LS6 intake on a '99
I've been bidding on LS6 intake manifolds on E bay. Haven't got one yet, but if I do, will I actually gain anything?
My car is stock except for Corsa & K&N. I thought I would have to change the throttle body as well.
And, will changing these things cause the computer to throw codes?
What road am I heading down here ? I was just looking for a quick mod..

Good question. I've heard about 10-15 hp at the rear wheels supposedly on a stock C5. LMperformance.com has them for sale for $389 and they mentioned the gain. I'm looking to make that my next mod and I'll take the intake if you don't want it.

Just based on what I have seen posted here and other boards, on a stock C5, I've seen from 0-15 hp reported. Most frequently it is about 5. Head/cam cars report 10-15 or more.
