Default Two probably dumb questions

1) Is there anyway to manually move the driver power seat back if power isn't working? Seat is all the way forward and I can't get in, or if i do, tough to get out
2) book says fuse box on passenger side, remove toe board, carpet and open fuse box!
Anybody actually been able to do this?
What's a toe board?
Do you have to lay on floor to look into fuse box?
Boy, my C4 was a lot easier
Thanks
Jack

Not sure about manually moving the seat - don't think it is possible.

The fuse box is located in the passenger foot well. There is a board forward in the well that slopes up as a foot rest. There are two clasps just like the ones in the trunk/hatch covering the cubbies. Release these and remove the board, tilting it back from the top. Fuse box is then exposed and looks just like the one under the hood.

Speaking of C4, have you changed a battery in one of those beasts. You have to remove body panels to get it out of the car!

Just one small panel beneath the hood in front of the tire. On mine I remove about 3 screws, one bolt and loosen one bolt to remove the panel. It takes about 5 minutes. It is not a big deal and is better than having battery acid eat into the cars computer located under the battery on a C5. I have one of each.
