DIC fades away

DIC fades away
I have a 2004 convertible. I received a message on the Driver information center that there was a charging system fault. I cleaned what grounds I could find and access and have not received that message since. However, now the DIC comes on at start up, but quickly fades away and becomes unreadable. Anyone experience this?

Are you positive that the fuse that supplies power to that IPC is getting the correct voltage??? The voltage from the ignition switch could be degraded. That would be the FIRST thing that I would check!

If the fuse has all the correct voltages, you have to OPEN up the IPC and start checking all the RIBBON Connectors and circuit board connectors for proper connections... The GM Delphi femal pins SUCK!
