gear swap

my 98 z51 is stock with 3.15 gears car wont spin unless you brake torque it I have 19x12 on rear . it only run 2.25 in 60 ft 13.85 in 1/4 at 101 mph what would 3.42 gears and 3200 converter do for it and if I go with 228 cam later would mail order tune from tsp work good thnx

London ky ive built several street cars that run 11s on pump gas but they was carberated this ls1 car I don't know a whole lot I don't want real low gears I like the mpg and I like a/c and cruise control lol

Gears, converter & a cam will get you into high 11s. But if I were you I would get the SS3600 since you are swapping cams. You can get by with a mail order tune. But a dyno tune would be better.
